English Translation
Somewhere there curls along a voice
A wind carrying someone's lament
Will not reach this place
The spiteful chains ever-fastened
A wind appealing threads of gloom (1)
Whirls in that place
Which is the measure?
Leastways pursuing a lull from regret
Bewildered by the dark tread of mourning
Fare thee well, I will block the light
At the end of my wandering
My mind alone roves
My thoughts begin to rot
A wall hardened by stagnant slander
Towers over me
I inquire the measure of my wounds
May I become a supportive power instead of shackles
That is the appeal of my receding heart
Leastways pursuing a lull from regret
This dusky life to expiate
Fare thee well, I will block the light
At the end of my wandering
My mind alone roves
Do not lose your way
Passing the one-way path of perdition
I pay tribute to that lost soul
Leastways surpassing the moment of loss
My dark existence is at stake
Fare thee well, I will block the light
At the end of my wandering
Entirely alone I shall rove
